Is it just me, or is the back window especially fragile?

yeah I would want a longer bed option too, also I wonder if, like beamng did for the Durham, this idea could be future inspiration for what the devs might make in a future update. Potentially named "2004-2008 Gavril D-Series."

So if you wanna have an off-roader in career mode, the short cab is a definite no-go. That's nice.

What an awesome and well thought-out mod! I'd like to see two things addressed: 1) the RoadSport cladding is partially missing in the short wheelbase chassis, 2) maybe a soft-close tailgate option for the higher end trim?

dude this mod is epic, now that it has the fullsize bed as an option on the 4-door, it really has the looks of the pickup body that belongs on the facelift D-series upload_2024-9-16_23-0-49.png
    --- Post updated ---
the current bodystyle of the facelift D-series is just the bodystyle of the default D-series

Looks good.. Wish we got more clearance for 35s/37s tire

Edit.. Tried moving the axle backwards. Value from 0.35 to 0.375

This is what the late Facelift D-Series should have been

    Amazing mod!
    Few recommendation's though.
    1. Add some sort of cut/baja offroad fenders front and rear.
    2. It would be great if the bed could have a cut-bed option, that eliminates the body work where the trim and lower 2-tone paint option is, that way high clearance bumpers would work for crawler roamer mods that already exist.
    3. Rock sliders

I looooove this mod, was originally trying to make this myself (after getting inspo from JustCallMeSurge), then I saw this. I have a few recommendations however:
    • An Australian flatbed tray, as the facelift Roamer is very similar to an Australian 105 Landcruiser, so a custom Aussie one would be AMAZING for us Aussies. Fattui’s d series tray for inspo: https://www.beamng.com/resources/aussie-d-series-makeover-updated.28089/
    • Some good Australian front bumpers
    • Other Aussie parts like stickers (if possible some Aussie stickers like BnB, No wasted Weekends, Bushdoof .etc) and stainless snorkels, Kmc beadlock wheels, bushdoof headlights
And I added an image of my own custom

Whats the link for the offroad mod? Can’t find it

Is there any chance you could make your mod work with Crazy Dale Creation's upfit mods for the D-series?

Thanks man, I am in the process of making my own 4x4 parts pack here: https://www.beamng.com/threads/aussie-4x4-parts-v1-1.99863/
Might be able to do stuff for the roamup soon, currently it just includes a rear bar for the roamer but over the next few weeks that will be improved and stuff will be added

One idea. I think it looks great as a small pickup for European markets, like the old Ford Ranger. It would be nice if it was available with smaller petrol or diesel engines. It could be the successor of the Gavril Spitfire/D150.
