The seat weighs somewhere around 20-30 lbs usually, and the shocks and springs together weigh around 7-8 lbs a piece. Wheels and tires can be anywhere from 30-40 lbs depending on the material/thickness of the wheels and tires. I'm unsure of the bare chassis weight and the body panel weight. To anyone who feels they can make themselves useful to the completion of this mod. We need some very in depth figures on the weights of different components on the car. We already know that the total weight of the cars sits at about 1550 kg ( 3400 lbs).but we need to know the weight of all the Thank you so much thats super helpful
with a quick google search I found the weight of a nascar cup car engine...260kg (575lbs), not sure if the truck engine is the same, that and this a modern cup car engine weight, I guess it's a weight we can use if we can't find anything else
An updated version of the sponsor file, now including: -A few updated logos -Car Brand Logos -Racing Team Logos and their Drivers -Emergency Vehicles -New Billboards -Tasteless Stickers (Still not entirely up to date)
This mod ive been half keeping an eye on it and hoping it wont share the samd fate as a trophy truck D series that was being worked on awhile ago. So far the development of this has been going very well and I cant wait to crash this into walls. Cars like this dont need alot of customozation in my opinion they just need to perform as intended. In this case thats going really fast around a track. Keep it up bruh like the mod
After this is done and dusted i will have to make something else. A trophy truck d series, that sounds fun....
Maybe a sprint car..? *wink wink nudge nudge* I think we need some more dirt cars on the block, heck we already have a dirt track on WCUSA OT: But I am very happy with the progress matty! You and Inertia are doing a fine job indeed
I don’t know if this is known or is needed to be known but after a little digging on google I found this “The trucks are powered by 6.0-litre, naturally-aspirated V8 engines, with carburettors instead of the electronic fuel injection of Sprint Cup machines. Power is around 650-700bhp unrestricted (450bhp restricted) and top speeds are around 180mph depending on the tracks that the cars run at, as specs can change. Torque levels are 520ft lb and fuel tanks take a maximum of 68 litres. Four-speed manual gearboxes are used by the drivers, and they compete on slick Goodyear tires. The maximum weight with fuel, but not with the driver, is 1542kg - add the driver and you get a similar figure to the Sprint Cup cars. But how do the trucks measure up? With a wheelbase of 2845mm, length of 5245mm, height of 1524mm and the cars being 2032mm wide, they are slightly bigger than the machines racing in the higher Sprint Cup category. Aero is once again limited, with front splitter and rear spoiler being the main sources.” Source: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.ca...ween-nascar-sprint-cup-and-truck-series-cars/ I also found this: Tube chassis on a sprint cup car weigh 1680 pounds on the left side and 1620 pounds on the right side. I could not for the life of me find the weight of the chassis of a truck series car and it took me an hour to find this. I would think this weight would be similar to that of a NASCAR truck so you may be able to use it.
