yup. replying to a 3 year old comment about similar rooflines still isn't useful no matter who designed the two cars.

    Front guard ribbing.

Alright, it looks cool, but is either not done, or is just really really uncommon.

Below is the inside of a late 60s Mustang guard. No ribbing, because these panels are usually pressed as one piece of sheet steel. The strength of the part is provided by the swage lines of the car instead of ribbing as the ribs would show on the outside of the panel, or would require a second sheet of steel spot welded to the guard, adding an extra process, more weight, and complexity to the part. I'd get rid of them for sake of realism, but yeah, no biggie.

    edit:
Rear suspension travel deforms the cargo divider.

And the engine bay braces become a malformed mess when the front guards are removed. Not sure how you'd fix this other than making a left and right brace and slotting them under the respective guard.

Anyone notice the front of the car with a 423 C.I engine dips more than it would with a 291 C.I engine? Great detail here.

In case my message drowned in the 0.4.3.x bug thread, the leaf-sprung rear axle starts shaking when I select the slotted mag wheels and eventually the wheels can fall off. Doesn't happen with other wheels or with the other rear axle.

The animation for the Automatic 4-Gear Drag transmission is messed up.

Plus, the fuel and temperature gauges aren't animated at all.

Whoops, thanks. Fixed for the next update.

Temperature gauges won't work until we simulate temperature, unfortunately.

i got the car to to break into 2... i hit a pole sideways at around 90-100mph and the front Subframe detached taking the motor with it.. realistic as this does happen if hit at the right angle on vehicles with subframes

I'll just assume you've silently acknowledged my previous post.

Roll the Kingsnek over, give it some throttle, and release. Something about the torque curve/gear ratio/some other factor gives the motor enough power to rev out and cycle from 2nd to 3rd gear without user input. Haven't tried it with other variants because lazy.

NOTE: I'm not even touching the pedals.

A bigger engine means more weight so the front would dip down

When you go around the big highspeed track on Gridmap in the Barstow Roadsport, the rear axle shakes. I think its more noticeable on the Roadsport for come reason, but it happens to all of them.

I wonder if it's possible for the 423 C.I. engine to get a stage 1 supercharger, it has a stage 2 but no stage 1?

Just a question why is its Tachometer limited only to 5000 revs/min, when real cars in the 60's mostly had it to around 6000 revs or more?
Even when its engine didn't spin up to high rpms, shouldn't the Barstow have a bit better marketing?
Mostly lower revving diesel cars have it limited to this range.

Maybe it would be a move to show off low end power. Also, Pushrod engines struggle lots at high revs; could be a way of keeping confidence in the rev count down low.
