Did you change anything that would effect traffic? I've noticed a huge difference in the behavior of AI since the previous version. Before the last update the traffic would respawn normally but since the last update, they don't. I can spawn 3-4 cars and they just wander off, rarely to be seen again. If one crashed into something, they just stay there and never respawn no matter where I go on the map. I cleared everything (cache, levels directory) and loaded the older version and traffic went back to normal. I could spawn just 2 cars and they were always around my general location on the map. It seemed like there were a lot more than just the two.
I'd noticed that, too, but I'd hoped it was just on my end (my computer at the time was very old; it's since been replaced). I'll have a look soon, hopefully I can find the culprit.
Whatever got broke with the traffic on your last Garfield update apparently got fixed with 0.20. I just updated to 0.20 and was "damage checking" to see which of my favorite mods got messed up and GH now works perfectly with traffic.
I have tried uninstalling the mod, clearing the cache, and reinstalling the mod but i'm still getting no texture everywhere.
Be sure to read the instructions in red in the overview tab. There are files that previous versions of the map created, that a cache clear won't delete.
Ok, this is the craziest thing I've seen yet. I've been enjoying playing on Garfield Heights (now that traffic is working again), usually being chased around by the police. One of my favorite escapes is to go down into the aqueduct which of course they follow and I get away by climbing up the sides and out, leaving them to have to go the long way to get out. Several times now I've noticed that once the police car gets into the aqueduct, it literally disappears. I can hear it, I can see the flares from the red/blue lights but the car itself is invisible. They can still ram me but I can't see them. The first time it happened I thought it was just a fluke but it's been fairly consistent. I don't think it's happened with regular cars that I've noticed, just the police cars. The ghost car in Atlanto should be like this! It's hard to get away when you don't know which way to run! Oh, and I've cleared the cache, etc. Edit: Now I can't seem to recreate it but I did notice it only happens in the aqueduct and maybe only when I'm being chased by modified police cars. This may just be something weird I'm doing so if nobody else has the problem, I'd just ignore it.
I'm out of words to describe how I like this mod, I know that we already have Firwood, but It would possible to add a small town to the mod, like, with some small business, another gas station, maybe an auto shop...
Navigate to Documents>BeamNG.drive (or your game file directory, in case you chose a different spot). Do a file search in the explorer window for 'garfieldHeights', and delete everything that comes up, other than 'garfieldHeights.zip'.
Downloaded the map and on the edge of the map is still in work but driving and looking at it its probably going to be good. Fun map best map I have please keep up the good work
