Game doesn't launch

I just built a new PC, and decided to try out this interesting game. However, the game just doesn't run beyond the launcher. What I've tried so far:

-reboot
-reinstall
-run from folder, both x86 and x64
-check game file integrity
-clear cache
-safe mode

The BeamNG.drive.x64.exe process can be seen in the task manager, but that's about it. No window appears or anything else after pressing play now. Banana-bench works. Other games do work.

 

Not sure how that fixed it, but I re-plugged my monitor's usb hub where my wheel is connected and now the game did launch. No such device can be found in the logs anymore... Thanks!

btw those letters should read "ö", and they read correctly on my end
