I assume it wouldn't be too difficult for it to be part of matchmaking, so those with or without the DLC only get matched with each other. They have to have separate servers for both maps anyway, so I can't see much of a problem there. It could even be as simple as players without it getting turned around at the border, which would eliminate the issue of friends not being able to play with each other. I'm not saying it would be easy to do, but it's far from impossible and would be well worth the effort in my opinion.
Add a tunnel with a tollbooth. You can get through the toll if you have the DLC but it wont open if you don't. Not that hard to come up with a better idea than a loadscreen tbh
Gaining an ultimate skill score in surfers paradise has proven to be insanely difficult! The worst thing was that I managed to do it once but it didn't recognise it. No wait it did recognise. All that rage fo nothing god dammit.
Oh god they have introduced tokens. $145 for 10,000 tokens that you might spend on one car that you might not use that much. Microtranactions are the worst.
I think they've always had the token thing, I believe the last couple Forza games have had it too. Although I do agree that micro transactions are ridiculous
The good thing is that it isn't forced. Plus you can always sell a couple of horizon edition cars that you don't want on the auction house.
Ive noticed that since FH1, Hoped it was fixed in FH2, Nope so hoped was fixed in FH3, Nope. Really disappointing. And when i tell people, they are like wth u talkin about
The funny thing is, they had tokens (so also microtransactions) since fm5 iirc. Back then they got a lot of hate for it so they removed them for fm6 (IIRC) and they them got hate from people who wanted to enjoy nice cars without having to grind for it. What are they supposed to do? They get hate no matter what.
And that's what cheat codes were invented for... something the gaming industry has kinda lost thanks to micro transactions.
well it could easily just be a separate mode... or the auction house and such could just be removed all together.
If your game doesn't work online, disable any un-used ethernet/wifi ports your PC has, that is how I got my online to work on my desktop PC!
I was quite surprised to find the Valiant Charger on the top 200 most requested models for Forza Horizon 3. Fingers crossed that it would end up in one of the car packs in the next few months probably as the E49.
bump Apparently, Forza Horizon 3 is now moddable thanks to the unencrypted dev-version leak https://www.facebook.com/ForzaMods/
After all, i finally got it working. Between 40-60 fps in high graphics with a GTX 1060 3GB. But in general, very bad optimisation. Leaving this, the best cars game i´ve ever tried.
