    Don't listen to haters, I love your job on this car, and actually, I spent hours in the game with this car. Good job!

    Re: FINISH HIM!!!

    Every time you start something new I'm going to tell you it looks like a 5 year old made it. So how about you start to not be a douche? I think the model is fine, and I think the mod is fine. I like it and it's not that bad to use in the game.

    Re: Released!

    The mod has plenty of potential, unfortunately... It's not finished yet :s
    The problems I've encountered after playing 5 minutes are:
    -Windows, they simply don't exist;
    -Offroad suspension, there are no shocks for some reason;
    -Tires, front grill, bumpers, engine and many other parts are plain mesh without detail, not sure how to call it;
    -The exhaust, wobbles like crazy;
    -Steering wheel, not centered correctly;
    -Headlights, emit light but don't look lit up when you look at them;
    That's all I think :s

    You should also try other mods, there are great mods out there. My favorites are probably the HellJeep, the Cadillac, the 6x6 Pickup Truck and a few others :)

    So this trunk understeers, a lot, a lot a lot.
    I fixed it by upping the the front tire traction and softening the front suspension. Now for the most part it goes where I point it.
    Hope this helps anyone not happy with the handling.

    It's supposed to understeer.
    Most of the weight is on the front tires, and it's not designed to corner well. I think...

    the ass end of a pickup is very light so logically won't it oversteer? I don't know, it might be realistic, but a boot on the gas will fix the understeer!

    Well, it has to do with center of mass.

    There rear end has a huge leverage advantage when it comes to cornering, so even though it's light, it still has that physics helping it force all the work into the front wheels.
    And I'm pretty sure it's how the real truck handles, just looking at it and thinking about the suspension, mass, frame, etc.
    Ofc I've never driven one, so if any of you own one, feel free to correct me.

    And yes, a boot on the gas will fix the understeer :3

    Here's a diagram I threw together. The math might not be that great, but it proves my point.

    Haven driven a variant of this truck, and understanding that it understeers, I also know that I can still corner at 20 in it and it will mostly go were I want it to.
    What I did to the truck moved it towards what I'm familiar with I do suppose.

    yes, and it makes it clearer what you said.

    I don't remember too many times my dad's silverado has understeered. In snow it's done it a couple times but I drift around corners most of the time so i don't experience much understeer

    My 1998 Silverado has fat tires and wheel spacers so it has under steer if your in 4x4 but its not as bad in 2wd. I love snow drifting! :)

    I wish I had snow to drift in, all sunny in desertland.

    (Oldest brothers truck not mine, so I do have limited driving time in this car, but I didn't get understeer on the (Dirt) roads to and from the farm in it.)

    Alright. Here with a new update.

    It's been a while for the same reason as the carlton; I got a 3D printer...

    So, since it's blown a stepper driver and the new one's in the mail, I've gotten over my anxiety and come back to tune the suspension again.

    I increased the damping in the front, to make it more responsive.
    Especially on the rebound damping, because that's what jerks the front side into the turn.

    It's handling as the census demands: No understeer on tarmac, some understeer on dirt.

    I'll update the original post with a new download.

    It's fun to drive but do ya think you could add textures? It does look bland as it is.

    1. That's one of the developers of the game.
    2. The post you replied to is from November of last year.
