1987 Jeep Cherokee Laredo for $950. Char is wonderful: 4x4 kicks butt, Dana 44 Rear axle w/trans cooler, rides smooth, handles well, rather compact, got the biggest A/Ts I can fit under there and new ball joints like 40 miles ago. Motor is less than 200,000, body (and odometer) is 297,000. Needs a new muffler right now because PO only tack welded my exhaust on. Hit some washboard gravel and it fell off and was stolen. I dont have a license yet, but as soon as I'll get one I'll just buy a dirt cheap car I can treat like sht and scrap if it breaks. Not only will it cost nothing to maintain, but it'll also make me appreciate nice cars more.

well, I live in the States, so we don't really need our Driver's License as an ID. I still have a permit and I do use that as my ID. the truck as of last year
