I dont have much "intro nostalgia" from old games since i didnt play very many, a few people completely hate this but Assetto Corsa.
(cant post a video cause youtube is blocked where i am but there is one on the first page if you dont know what it looks like.)

 

Hard Truck Apocalypse. I remember rushing home from school every day to play that strange old Russian game on my dad's computer.

 

I've always liked the NFS: Most Wanted 2012 intro.
It just had a feeling to it...

 

We can relax and enjoy driving...

 

Again, technically not a trailer but a cutscene but...

This one sends shivers down my spine EVERY... SINGLE... TIME... I watch it . That's my personal No.1 of all time.

 

The one that I found the funniest was Command and Conquer Generals.

 

Its just so peaceful, yet not.

Unpopular opinion time.

Honestly I don't really like the intros of most racing games, even I loved playing most of them. 90% of the intros are just cars driving around, maybe on a track or on the road filled with cops. It's mostly a bit monotonous I guess.

And oh yeah, I can hear people whining about intros on racing games! OK, here's one I actually like.


Seriously, when I first saw this intro I actually fell in love with it. Yeah, it's still your "generic racing intro", but PG at least made it awesome on doing this. I know what I'm saying, it's just my opinion.

I mean, are they actually just similar intros with different songs though?
also kasabian is a pretty okay band if you ask me

 

Watch Dogs 2 had a good intro, wouldn't put it over most of the need for speeds, but it was good. Technically it starts with gameplay and then a cutscene, but I did like the way it flowed.

I would've picked wd1 but 2 was more focused on what the game was supposed to be about anyway.
