Experimental Boat Project

Hello There !
i was bored and decided to start a little project, Something i haven't seen yet and a boat it is. All through i am very new to Blender i hope i can finish this sometime !

 

Reason for no boats is a lack of buoyancy so it won't float.

There is currently no buoyancy, so it wont float. However, collision triangles work with water too, just like planes, so you can make a boat, but when you stop it will sink.

 

Have Devs talked about when it will be added?

 

I don't believe so, no. I think it will be a while because the devs have a lot of things that they are working on right now, and a lot more things that are higher on the list of priorities than buoyancy. But I'm sure it will come before long. Remember, there are only 4 developers for this game, so be patient. Your patience will be rewarded.

Just keep her pinned and hope for the best?? LOL Would make it perfect if it was named the "SS Minnow"

 

Keep working on this, I have wanted somebody to make a hydroplane for a while.

 

Might not be the best idea.
On second thought, knowing how much people like crashing stuff, it might be quite appropriate.

 

I like the irony of the name.
