I was delivering a load around Paris and I randomly found a maku ;o. I also had my fair share of road blocks and crashes. I also bought a new Volvo. Volvo master race. Very impressed with this mod so far. But my ets2 updated and now the mp doesn't work so I'm here.
I too has dat Volvo. I also have a Scania. And like 6 employee trucks. (Base Ivecos I think.) I'm like level 23. No cheats.
I will try this out. But perhaps we could make an ets2 group? By the way I bought the disk and need to know whether I can activate it on steam. Yes I have the code.
Disk can be activated on steam, go to your library, bottom left has the "Add a game" button, click that then "Activate a Product on Steam"
I have a profile that i made in 2012, which is at level 46. My skills are maxed out so I can't put skill points anywhere :d
Is anyone else having trouble getting onto multiplayer? I keep getting an error when I try to launch it.
if you have the latest version of ets2, that's probably why, as i don't believe they've updated the mod to support 1.10 yet (I'd confirm this, but i don't have ets2 on steam, lost my key, as well as proof that i had a key in the first place, so yeah, i have horrible luck when it comes to games (still can't get gfwl on gta iv to work, but that's getting shut down quite soon, so not really a point in trying anymore, ill probably switch to iv:mp or something like that, also just realized i started getting semi off-topic (the on-topic part being me talking about multiplayer, the off-topic part being me not talking about ets2 multiplayer, lol)))
There was an ETS2 update yesterday, it's not compatible with the mp mod. You'll have to manually downgrade it or wait for the next mp update.
I was about to purchase this on Steam but after reading many MetaCritic reviews I think I'll pass. If the AI hasn't improved since 18 Wheels of Steel then forget about it. My patience towards online gamers/grievers is strongly limited and doesn't justify me opening my wallet to experience this mod.
The AI is massively improved since the 18 WoS days... and was updated again very recently. I'd guess most of those reviews are NOT from the past 2-3 months when they've been doing the AI updates.
Cheers for the information. I'll keep that in mind but I'm still gonna hesitate a bit longer before purchasing. Steam should have a discount sale on the game soon enough.
I bought my version on the weekend for 5 dollars. I not a big fan on the single player, but the multiplayer sure makes up. Personally, this game is worth 25-35 dollars just for the multiplayer. The only bad thing is the BR's crashing you. Besides that, its really fun. I bought it Sunday and I already have 16 hours played.
I got ETS2 plus Going East for $9 on sale, a fantastic value IMO. It seems like it goes on sale every now and then, and the price will probable come down when American Truck Sim comes out.
I bought it for like $30 or $35 or something on Amazon a little while after it was released. (I think.) Who's up for a BNG convoy?
I got the base and expansion for $10 on sale... I HAVE TO HOLD OFF ON GAMES RIGHT NOW BECAUSE THERE IS AN EXPO AND I NEED TO BUILD STUFF DON'T TRY TO SWAY ME OTHERWISE KTHXBAI
Um. Okay? PLAY GAMES DURING THE DAY THEN BUILD YOUR WHATEVERS AT NIGHT AND REPLACE SLEEP WITH RED BULL.
is it a good idea to buy this simulator?(not like i can im broke) like is it fun? or what type of stuff can you do?. should i just google this?
Very fun. Repetitive, but fun. It's kind of a tycoon game. (You build a trucking empire with employees and all that.) Just watch some YouTube videos or something. (If you like Nerd3 he has some videos of this game.)
