Hey, I downloaded the core and the updates. It's not working. Disabled all other mods to insure no conflicts and even downloaded and put in the mods folder manually. The same happens with the hybrid bus as well.
Are you sure both the game and the mod(s) are up to date? I just verified on my own Steam copy of BeamNG and the versions of my mods that are currently on the repository, and I didn't get any errors.
Why is the CVT locked at 2900rpm even in the race configuration? Then it only gives 125 hp, not the best use of a 270hp engine I would think.
Same thing happened with me --- Post updated --- did not work --- Post updated --- i tried cleaning my cache, did not work either
Uh, i met this problem: I found out that the default setting was deleted so i tried to reset 'E' for EV and 'shift+E' for charge, but the game doesn't seem to identify only 'E' or 'shift'. How can i solve it?
Hi! The mod is amazing! But, sometimes, the engine dies randomly and a message that says: "Engine failed: power reduced" appears on screen. At that point, the car works only in EV mode. I have both the core and this mod
I have a problem with this mod. When I set "Battery Charge" to 0% and activate "charge mode", the battery does not charge at all, the same as braking when using the "L" gear. Maybe someone of you had a similar problem and knows how to solve it?
Hi there! I really love this mod, infact I signed up to the forum just to write my opinion on it. I've tried a few beamng hybrid mods so far but this is clearly the best. I love it. However, I noticed a few things. 1. by default the buttons for auto parking brake, ev mode and charge mode are all unasigned. 2. auto parking brake doesnt do anything, at least I couldnt find it doing anything. 3. sometimes the vehicle starts rolling even when in P, which is a bit annoying. 4. the batteries will never charge to a higher % than when the vehicle was spawned, which is sad because I wanted to compare a non-hybrid with the similiar engine to a hybrid with no battery charge to see if it could still achieve higher efficiency (with regenerative braking etc.) 5. the 854 config spawns with an i6 Also a suggestion, it would be cool to integrate ev mode, charge mode etc. into the default driving modes. Then the behavior could be altered for Sport mode too etc. and the integration would feel more like it was in the default game. Another suggestion, make a diesel version. Diesel on the highway in charge mode and the through the city in EV mode is a very economical combination. For anyone wondering, works on BeamMP too. Game version: 0.31.1. Mod version: 8.1.0. Core Mod version: 5.1.0. all mods subscribed ingame. Cheers!
hi! is it possible to make an etk800 hybrid with an automatic or dct transmission like e performance mercedeses?
This is what I'd want as well out of a BeamNG hybrid mod, an auto, DCT, or even sequential transmission so I can shift gears
About Q4: Try changing the line 1157 of hybridPowertrain.lua from “battery.storedEnergy = mathutil.clamp(battery.storedEnergy - batteryEnergyDelta, 0, battery.initialStoredEnergy)” to “battery.storedEnergy = mathutil.clamp(battery.storedEnergy - batteryEnergyDelta, 0, battery.energyCapacity)” Seems to solve the issue of battery not charging beyond initial soc. I guess it's because beamng updates the battery codes in new versions. Don't know if it would cause other bugs, but it seems fine now to me. --- Post updated --- Maybe simulate honda IMMD/E:HEV as well
Hello, I changed what you wrote and now when I press the gas the car doesn't move. My gearboxes have also multiplied. Below is a screenshot.. maybe you had the same problem?
Sorry, just saw your post. Unfortunately, I don't have this problem In theory, it won't change anything relating to the mod itself, it just updates the battery logic. Maybe you could try to reinstall the mod (Arcanox Core), unpack it from the game mod page, and change that single line alone?
Even the "sport" version is SLOW now. If I stomp the accelerator to the floor, the car doesn't bolt away like a scalded cat like it used to.
