    Update:
Ported back some old glass from v0.23 k series, thumbnails may be a bit inaccurate now cause of this or low quality due to some unknown reason with thumbnail generator, edited configs to make automatic and manual shifters work and added a custom config.

probably not going to do much with this for some time so I decided to add the horn and clean up the first post a bit.

So i did a experiment with the mod by trying to use the Shooting Brake model into the existing K-Series jbeam script, and it turns out to be fine. 2 things that i wasn't enable to fix/add is the openable hatch & jbeam is still using the coupe base (due to lack of skill). So my point is, this thing definitely doesn't need a whole lot of rework except for modelling & texture i'd say

Merging the mods edited jbeam with the existing coupe could work, only problem is that i dont know a lot about jbeam either, it could be possible, i just don’t know if i could do it or not.
Might give it a shot at some point but i can’t really promise anything

This is a really good mod. Im trying to add the newer etk badges onto the car, so instead of it saying Kc6 (old) it should say 300/340/360 For the 6 cylinder models as an example, which is the new ones

Hear me out, adding 2 rear seats (2+2 layout) would be an excellent idea, I have done it in my ETK 800/K V10 mod.

I was actually going to attempt this, but due to the way this car is designed this is in the back,
    Screenshot2024-12-07213709.png
if I had modelling experience I would attempt to remove this, as I stand right now I have almost no modelling experience so the end result will probably look very bad due to the fact removing the part attached to the body also removes some of the inside of the car.

If you manage to do this do you mind if I put it in a version of the mod on the first page? (with credits ofc).

On another note I spent a little while tonight messing around with this thing and found it was missing a slot which added rear widebody fenders, so I've re-added them, I want to really add openable's to this but can not get my head round them, I've got them to appear in-game (probably cause there literally ripped from the vanilla K-Series) but they do not function. It's probably just something I'm missing that's causing it, maybe some day this will get them if I can figure it out.

I had a look at it but i think if it was ever going to be done it should probably be redone completely to match today’s standards. All the Jbeam seems to be uncategorised in the body Jbeam file so id have to sort through everything and even then it might just explode after it’s ported over to the new K-Series due to how old it is, the glass/roof proportions seem to be off a bit also.
(Old pic showing unaligned glass from the new K-Series in one of the earlier versions of this patch.)

Progress with the Jbeam redesign thing?
I pretty much came to the conclusion that it’s really not worth doing due to the mods age unless the entire mod is redone, so I personally won’t be doing it
