I'm trying to create a 3D model of the shell of the car, but it's coming along slowly, so i made a quick and slightly bad sketch of the basic look that i'm trying to go for. (i just realized that the line separating the bodywork from the wing in my sketch is tilted in a way that would not allow it to rise up. oops. I also only highlighted the first part because my hand was starting to shake :/ ) It will have a very low, w i d e, and aerodynamic look. I'm thinking that the tail lights will consist of 3 separate pieces on each side, each one kind of extruded out of the surface of the bodywork for an interesting 3D look. I'm sure you can tell that the tail lights and head lights especially are similar to the K Series. The center tail light will be part of a massive dynamic rear wing. It will look like the side of the car is kind of folded up and over the wheel arch and to the back of the car to create a flying buttress that flows into the tail lights and the rear wing. It's difficult to show this from a sketch, but hopefully you get the picture. I still have to learn more about jbeam, but maybe i could make the rear wing tilt according to the steering, kind of like this car? Remember, some stuff is still very subject to change. What are your thoughts on this design? Suggestions?
Exactly how I’d picture a car like that to look, which is a very good thing. Has that intimidating, sporty design. Some advice for the rest of the design, it needs large holes and vents all over it for aerodynamics, but no grille. Someone like ETK would like to blatantly show that it’s electric
Yes! I didn't think of that when i was drawing the front of the car, and i put a grille on it. I will change that in the future.
ETK Z-series. As Z is the last letter in the alphabet, it means that it is the ultimate ETK. E-series is already copyrighted by me for this thing: If needed, I can prove that I began referring to it as E-series much earlier than this thread was created.
Thanks for letting me know about that! Don't worry about trying to prove it with evidence, i'll go ahead and change e-series to z-series in the original post, you can have the name e-series --- Post updated --- Also, that screenshot is interesting. It looks like an SUV based off of the ETK 800.
That's fine, but it would give the headlights some more flare. Maybe just the LED, instead of the entire headlights?
Oh, i see what you mean. I'll draw up some more concepts in a minute so you can say what you think would look best. --- Post updated --- Ok, here is a quick sketch: Is this similar to what you had in mind? In the drawing I have an LED strip with 2 separate main LED lights, a continuous LED strip with 3 breaks in it, or a single LED strip. I think they would all look good, i cant decide now. What are your thoughts?
The one in the far right was like what I was talking about. It could be interesting to see the results in-game once you get to the lights.
