Look in the console (~). It says there's no material found for texture "eca_bld_woodcladding_01_a". And indeed, materials.cs references that file, while that file does not exist.
Thanks for letting me know what the problem was. Because I could not figure it out. I will try to get this fixed.
It does affect your driving, I'm pretty sure. I got stuck in the snow next to that house on the main road in the little cove. I also slid about on the street quite easily.
By the way, here's the link to that video in the picture. It also uses some other snow maps, if you want to compare it. ☻
I guess this is kind of like what it is outside of central Penobscot County, Maine Pretty much a little snowstorm outside, Bangor Daily News says the following...
"Saturday will be a messy one. Dangerous travel conditions as a storm brings a wintry mix to Maine. The immediate coastline is at the greatest risk of seeing freezing rain and sleet. As you travel further north and inland, snow will be the dominant type of precipitation. The storm should be winding down this evening and we’ll see partial clearing tonight with lows in the low 20s. The second half of the weekend will be partly sunny and mild in the mid 30s. We’ll likely have snow again on Monday with highs in the upper 20s. Tuesday is much cooler in the low 20s, but starts a sunny and quiet trend for the rest of the work week."

I have downloaded the newest version but the roads still aren't slippery. You said you added black ice to the roads?
