Does the game itself have a name yet?

haha, I second that, Its a pretty catchy little name if you ask me. Plus the added inh-house cameo of it all, it would be most amusing to those of us who have seen Tdev state that same phrase many of times

 

skimming through this thread i mostly see name recommendations involving destruction and racing and a "fast-paced" theme. i think the name should instead reflect its identity as a physics display. I'm more intrigued by the way vehicles and objects behave and perform in an environment rather than how much a car can be compacted after crashing at 120 mph. its all about the technical side.

 

I kinda Like BeamNG as the game name. It is what we are all used to so I would call it something like BeamNG Simulator.

What does the 'NG' In BeamNG stand for? Is it Beam/Node game? Or does it just sound cool? Either way, im happy. Please respond.

 

I believe the "NG" is 'Next Generation'. could be wrong though.
