does beamng take popular mods and put them into the game?

0.6 or 0.7 i think, the configuration was in 0.8 or something around then.

 

If it is, and his mod was tested in 0.6, still doesn't mean they ripped it from his mod. They probably just made a new model, but took the idea from it. Some dev could probably say what it is.
