How on earth does a broken keyboard cause you to click submit??? Poorer excuse than the dog ate my homework.
It's , er, technically sort of possible. On a tablet. Say the key you're about to press is right where the submit button goes. Just before you press the key the keyboard gets bugged and randomly hides, so you press submit instead. The chances of that happening though... One in a decillion.
If he typed the post out he was planning on posting anyway. There's no way you accidentally hit reply to thread, type a post out, then hit submit.
Actually i quite often type something out and then decide its not worth posting. Most often when i cant convert my thoughts into the English language elegantly and i just close the tab. Often its best to not post at all rather than posting something that is badly written and that could be misinterpreted. Considering what my posts are often like im sure you guys can only imagine how illiterate and badly structured some of the stuff i write is
Yeah I do that sometimes, but usually when I decide not to it's because it's useless or stupid or something. I guess that's feasible, but only if he's on a tablet or a phone.
