Diesel Runaway

    except the oil doesnt ignite under the same conditions diesel does

    Obviously you have never seen a runaway before. It uses the lubricating oil as fuel. Shutting off the fuel won't do a dang thing for you. You need to put a board over the turbo to not allow air. When they runaway they rev a lot higher than normal. Sometimes double rpm.

    actually, living on a farm, I've seen multiple runaways

    so why can a m35a2 run off motor oil perfectly fine if oil dosent ignite, the engine in them works the same as a diesel except the fuel density compensator which is part of the fuel system not the ignition

    please quote where i said oil doesnt ignite. It doesnt ignite as reliably as diesel does, it just simply doesnt feed the engine in even nearly a large enough quantity to run

    That engine is running 100% on the lub oil. That man is holding the fuel SHUT. Read the description.
