Rear duallies was also said before. Although I've got a feeling I know where the idea of some of the parts came from. ;)

@gabester; A HD hood/front fascia will fit a duallie truck better than the regular D-series front fascia I think.

It'll have 1.o.o.o when the bugs have all been ironed out.

I think it will be 1.0 when the game is "finished" No beta or alpha, the final game.

On topic: That looks pretty sweet gabe!

I made a very rough estimate of when v1.0 would be released. If every month there is an update released, it would take about 4 years and a half for it to be v1.0 starting at 0.4.4
    But thats a rough estimate.

And on topic: im 100% sure this Christmas will be a very special Christmas. I cant wait to see the new features, and the new vehicles.

Thats a completely inaccurate estimate considering 0.4.4 does not represent the decimal number 0.44 or 44 hundredths of 1. Version numbers such as 0.34.21 are possible.

Which is why it isint accurate, its just an estimate.
The way i looked at it is, every 0.0.1 update are monthly updates, 0.0.0.1 are minor updates in between like minor updates and bug fixes. Just look at the devblog, every major updates are 0.0.1
It was not always like that, but there is no way to really tell how long there is to an official 1.0 release. It was just a quick calculation that i made for fun and i wanted to share that.
I also understand what you are saying, but as of now we havent seen any updates what are bigger then 0-9 meaning 0.4.54.15 arent included and i didnt make an estimate with that. which is why it is a rough estimate and it is inaccurate.

no... version numbers work like 0.9 -> 1.0

0.1 is the same as 0.10

But I get your point; eventually, BeamNG will get to 1.0 official release

In computer software, 0.10 as a version number is higher than 0.9. Its not a decimal point, its simply a seperator for version, major revision, patch and build number in a typical 0.0.0.0 type version numbering scheme.
    1.2.45.5630
    Version 1, revision 2, patch 45, build 5630.
There are variations in the scheme, but thats the general gist of it.

This would honestly make it for me. Is there even an official vehicle with a SFA besides the T75?

Does this mean that the roamer will finally get its own slot in the vehicle selector? This new D Series option will only serve to clutter the current option of D Series/Roamer more, as well as further differentiate the D Series from the Roamer. Having the two cars together really annoys me more than it should.
