Remember that BeamNG now supports 2 UV maps, for the 1st layer (which is just for shading) you should map both halves to the same place (to save UV space) and even position/stretch to further save space The second layer (used for skins) can be mapped like so, just making use of the whole texture OT: Slowly building on the S14, fixed the engine bay being too short, fixing bumper and fender inners ect... and added some wheels
I've never been the type of person to work with another, so honestly no, but thanks. I know it's possible to have two UV maps, I just don't understand how to create the second layer. I've always worked with one.
