Looks nice. A bit of depth for the sand would be cool, 245-245-245 works very well for every kind of vehicle. And some bumps and hills would be nice too. Are you using the BeamNG terrain editor or another tool to create the terrain? Also dat Evo... I prefer the III myself but the VII/VIII are still great
looking good i like how in the third screenshot the sand covers the road. hope its released soon. (where can i get the mitsubishi?)
One of those uber1337karts you make as an 8 year old. Wheels probably temp, used this as a learning experience in baking textures from higher poly stuff. The kart is bang on 200 tris without wheels, all the bevels and shit are done in normalmaps.
Place it on a hill and let gravity happen. Or maybe I'll put a tiny engine or electric motor on it, the type you get off a strimmer or electric scooter.
I got back to working on my car. Almost done with the rear fender. I also widened the pillars to make them more like the ones in the real car. I used a temporary smooth modifier. It's a bit too round in parts now, so I'll have to play around with that a bit. Here's a wireframe: I'm keeping the grid pattern as much as I can. The lower part of the fender will be properly finished when I make the floor of the car. - - - Updated - - - inb4 cliff map
that open wheel is going to be awesome, wasnt really excited for that car until it had the fenders and whatnot taken off.
That moment when you forget that it's a truck not a crawling buggy Still working on the rear suspension [front suspension done]
Made the A-pillars, still need to finish stuff at the bottom. Also improved the rear fenders a bit. This is my last update today, I need to sleep too. And yes, the car is an E30 M3. - - - Updated - - - Cool crawling bu- I mean truck. Is it an actual real life truck or is it your design?
So I just spent 5 hours making this thing 100% driveable with 600 hp and 800 kg of weight. Thanks Jalkku:
