Working on stuff, but it is giving me a hard time. Lua problems, vehicle controller bugs and engine thermals. It will take some more time to get it flying again. At least we have multi engine support now.
Ahem... Honestly i am very proud of these results even if they are crap. Anyone can guess what it is? Also i would need help finding different angles blueprints for this thing. it would help me a lot.
Awesome, I was thinking about building a rotary but I got sidetracked with other stuff. If you plan on using that for an engine in Beam you should probably make a version with far less polys, the inside of the engine doesn't need anything to be there. If you look at the official engines they are very low poly and use a texture to create detail.
I know. but i wanted to go crazy and make something very detailed lol. But heres the twist. its not THAT detailed. i kinda regret no adding even more detail. but thats ok.

This is absolutely amazing. you sir are amazing. It looks great and its the closest thing we are going to get since there are absolutely no blueprints for this thing anywhere.
Its beautiful *_* So happy about the results. Planning on also making custom intakes for the housing. Having issues finding good references images tho, so if someone wants to help pm me pictures of the parts that are missing.
Brap Brap The more I see posts of that ae86 the more I get excited, you are on the list of mods with the most time put into it Its been over 3 years.
As good as your modeling is, I do have one question. Why the detail? most (all) engines in BNG are just single models, and since that kind of engine simulation doesn't exist in-game yet, unless you plan on having a destructible engine (which would be pretty cool), or unless you plan on having separate/upgradable rotors/valves, I don't really know why you are spending so much time designing an in-depth engine interior.
that question calls for a bit of talking lol. Im 18 years old, i have no idea what i wanna do in my life, but i do know that i absolutely love and enjoy modding stuff for beamng. i also really love modeling stuff. and recently ive been trying to get courses in modeling since its something that interests me a lot. i havent graduated yet and even when i will, i have no idea where i wanna go in life. So thats why i decided to make a rotary engine that is this detailed, to learn and get experience from it. its a really good challenge ill tell you that. Ive been doing projects like that in my spare time for a very long time and im almost at 800 hours in blender, so if one day i decide to go into 3d modeling ill already have a bit of experience. Its actually my first time doing something like this, and as of now im so proud of the results. it looks absolutely amazing and i cant wait to get it in beamng. and yes, i do know that it is a bit high poly for beamng, and i do know that beamng does not require this amount of detail, but as i said, i wanted to make something very detailed for experience.
i suggest trying to get a job at a game developer or go freelance with your experience. if you can do modeling, animation, script coding, and writing, you'd be VERY valuable to any game dev
