I'm just as clueless as you seem to be... but for now, you should wait until the game is updated so you can just put .DAE model files in the vehicle folder instead of making modifications to the normal car. I think gabe said something about this recently

EDIT: Update on the custom wheel textures: I'm gonna be making a version for the Sport/Rally rims on the Covet. If only the sport wheels from the Grand Marshal/D15 were also on the Covet...

Got bored made this, still have to smooth the roads a bit and the cliffs but its a great driving road.

Cliff 2.0
I decided to mod the cliff map, it has so much potential but atm you can only use it to watch some vehicles falling... It's mainly used for crashing but I am currently working on a "the fast and the furius" style Mountain-Drift-Track. Everything still needs a lot of smoothing and details but I think it's getting somewere.



A huge drop off, you won't belive it but you usally land perfectly

 

well its a start, unfortunately all the tracks are basically impossible at the moment

 

Man that is some nasty mud. I'm sure when better crawlers / boggers get released you'll be able to make it up. Looking forward to see content from you!

 

thanks, it was designed for the RoR vehicles which all run 35"-42" tires, but i think the D15 only has 33" tires

 

That is awesome man, would you be able to make a little 'guide' on how to get mud and make it deep/shallow thick/thin etc? I was thinking of adding some sort of Mud dragstrip next to the actual strip on my wip map. No worries if not though Great work
