Yee that is exactly what inspired my intercooler, going to add an extra heat exchanger (not sure if I should make it a radiator since it might clash with the existing radiator) with the lines connected to the intercooler.
Just make a mesh as of heat exganger (can use a high-performance radiator model and make it thinner), because I think you will not gain anithing "physical" unless coding a new combustionEngine. --- Post updated --- In fact, facelift version got an intercooler
Lmao pretty much my thoughts the entire time making this lol. Since it's not long enough even though it's nearly the full height of the box I'm going to add some ramps that will slide out from underneath so at least it can pick up some cars. Tempted
It would be super cool if it could lift cars so you could load them into the truck. It's still super cool as is though.
Don't want to clutter this thread but I posted another video in my Trailer Expansion pack discussion thread of it lifting a covet but this was early in development with an unrealistically long ramp. I'd like to keep this functionality so I will be adding extendable ramps. I personally love the suspension squat on the truck when lifting. Aiming for realistic weight of the liftgate and lift capacity also. Cantilever lifts tend max out at around 6700lbs capacity (more than I thought possible) with a weight of around 1500lbs (https://usa.anteo.com/media/jedbp1de/f3cl66-detailed-specifications-hs-1.pdf). Currently to have enough rigidity the weight is around 2200lbs and will increase with the extendable ramp section. Its just surprising how rigid these things are considering the huge mechanical advantage the end of the ramp has over the small distance between the main ramp pivot and the piston mount pivot on the ramp. I replicated this instead of using a more hacky method. Safe to say I know much more than I ever though I would about liftgates lol.
I love this beauty!!! --- Post updated --- Will this have basic configs and lore-friendly name? It looks very good!! --- Post updated --- So excited for this! We absolutely need this!! Looking good!!! --- Post updated --- You're making a very great job man, keep it up ^^
Does anyone get tired about stretched cars and wanted smaller cars without shortening the wheelbase? I have an ETK 800 with shortened bumpers (with correct JBeam as much as possible without compromising the original openables). ETK 800 with shortened aero bumpers shown above (managed to shorten it to 178 inches from originally the sport version having 183.7 inches), comparison of the shortened aero config to original sport version shown below.
