It won't dw, I might release it if I can polish it up some so that it can be modified for other bikes and stuff, the model is a placeholder, I needed something to go off of when jbeaming. (assuming it doesn't suck as bad as it does rn) It drives using thrusters and has no brakes currently, this will be changed I'm just getting more stuff sorted out first. It uses a modified version of the walk mode stabilization system in order to stay balanced, not the most realistic choice but it works.
More texturing work, including reskinning the Vivace motor with more hazard stickers and actual Renault part numbers. So much more texturing work to go......
Wiring is an absolute hell :face_with_steam_from_nose: No battery shield: With new battery shield (derived from etk800_heatshield): Redesigned frunk and engbay
An early design for an 80's budget sports car(think MR-2 or Fiero) The underlying chassis is from a Covet MR.
Interesting. The idea of a Covet-based sports car sounds new to me. Is it British, European, Japanese, or even American? Because that reminded me of how Lotus, despite being owned by Proton at the time, used Toyota engines on their cars, like the Elise and Exige for example.
Well I am so far planning to make it Japanese given it shares the Covet's underpinnings and many interior components. Working Name: Ibishu CMR(Coupe, Mid-Ship, Rear-Drive) "Covetta" The initial plan for this was to shove a front subframe from a Pessima or LeGran in the rear like the MR-2 or Fiero but found using the MR Covet chassis wholesale much easier to do. Because of that the longitudinal engine and wheelbase does bear similarities to a Lotus Esprit.
