This is not a contributing post and i didn't wanted to make a thread for it. Could anyone please tell me what is this kind of suspension? I need to have deep reference pictures of this for my torino. View attachment 40718
Ibishu™ is ready to ship Pigeons world-wide. But it may take some time... - - - Updated - - - New shoes I need to update the textures of my previous Rims too, then make more.
I have this in progress: View attachment 40844 (late '60s Divco delivery/ice cream truck) I'm not building it expressly for BeamNG, but if there's anyone deeply interested in it and/or with JBeam experience, I can start a thread to get this thing up to Drive's standards.
View attachment 40890 It's driveable now, as you can see by the many skids... View attachment 40891 Two Truenos is twice the fun! View attachment 40892 View attachment 40893 Here's the jbeam, nice and simple for good performance ^_^ (hopefully adding the panels won't hurt the performance too much, provided I keep them simple it should perform rather well) The front suspension no longer inverts, so you can drive it at speed without breaking anything. Of course, it still wobbles, so I'll need to sort that out. There seems to be some other factor causing the car to spin out easily, I'll have to investigate that... Here's a basic list of some things to do next: Rigidify front suspension (probably with limiting beams) Strengthen parts of the frame, and weaken others (so it deforms like a car, not a truck) tune the handling, so it's realistic add brakes body panels
I don't ever recall the Ford Torino being considered a "sports car"... also @Pontiac, you should use 5 bolts, not 4. Big American cars never have 4 bolts. You could also lower the polygon count a bit, but otherwise it looks spot on
Is this better now? And no, it's not even close to high poly XD View attachment 41002 View attachment 41003
Not really. It still has too many edges on the axle, brake drums and differential it looks like you're just using the default 32 atm. Use around 20 at most for the brakes and the axle should only need around 8. The springs are also really too high poly. The suspension is also wrong, this year of torino used a 4 link rear suspension setup with coil springs, not leafs...
