The weight distribution was wrong because I based it on "Average human weight distribution" instead of "Average EUROPEAN human weight distribution"... Africa and Asia messed up the world average lol, what a fail I fixed it and added adjustable weight: You need to add I6 Fleet, I6 Taxi and I6 Rusty Derby Taxi with hood exhaust
That's the plan, it will work on every car like my other mods, though for mod cars you will have to adjust the position yourself as I can't possibly make presets for every mod in existence. You will even be able to add a dummy "passenger" to the standalone dummy and have 2 dummies as 1 vehicle if all goes according to the plan.
That one has unmodified Stig Jbeam that doesn't fit the shape at all. And the old dummy prop mod has a very... special Jbeam, it looks like an alien lol. For now the CrashHard Dummy is the only one with good Jbeam, I can never get as good as that, but it has a lot of nodes and beams which lags the game.
I have fixed the biggest issues with the dummy 3D model. I added wrists that were missing, finished the head 3D model that was unfinished at the bottom and was also see-through from the inside, and also fixed the abdomen only having one-sided faces everywhere which made it partially invisible from certain angles. Now it needs a new UV map and new textures, for the black parts I'll just reuse the in-game black plastic textures because they look good, the rest will be custom and skinnable. Edit: Prepared everything for making new UV maps and textures but I have next to no experience in it so it will take a while
I think the I6 Fleet should be cheaper than the normal I6 and than the normal Fleet as the Fleet is cheaper than the V8 and the I6 is cheaper than the V8, and also the Taxi I6 should be cheaper than the normal taxi and than the V8. You need to rearrange that.
The I6 Fleet is actually I6 Injection spec, so it's supposed to come after the normal I6, but before the I6 Injection. I'll do what I can about the V8/I6 Ratio tho. --- Post updated --- Is this better @Agent_Y ?
Yeah this looks more reasonable, idk what the real I6 to V8 ratio is because other cars in the game don't have that many I6 options, maybe just the I6 Sport could be more expensive because of the wheels
Bought a new mk4 golf after selling the Jolf, so progress is continuing finally. Modelled the golf front end, also did mesh tweaks to the jetta front end. Started modelling a little bit of the chassis/interior/underbody stuff. Need more scans and references for solid progress but it's a start.
I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask for tips, but I don't wanna create a new thread because I barely even started this mod Alright so I created the exterior of my car using reference blueprints but there aren't blueprints for the bottom/interior so I'm not sure where to start for that should I just wing it and fix it up over time? Look at my body compared to, for example the moon hawk body
Pretty much. The best way to get the interiour more or less right is to find photos of the inside of the car, be it while it's being rebuilt or just taken apart
