I'm a little curious as to how @LJFHutch is handling these small brick roadside barriers - are they individual objects added along the curves and exported as forest items, or are they a single object that behaves more like a solid guardrail? Would it be possible to drive a Pigeon in between them?
I think they are individual objects.. but my question is why would they put them into the inner part of the curve like we can see at the 2nd picture? It doesn't make much sense to me as they dont protect anything there.. in reality you see road barriers/guardrails placed almost everytime at the outer curve so they can prevent you falling off of the cliff
The inside ones are there so that you don't cut the corner and fall off the cliff, typically barriers are also placed on the side of the road with the drop next to it.
God Italy is looking awesomely atmospheric and rich. This map will be epic with properly functioning AI.
I wonder if the reason we're not getting any more WCU pics is because it's finished, and he's just doing some coding fixes.
Decorations and small details are the things the maps needs. Those streets would need some benches, wine trees, plants, trashes, some boxes, trashcans, etc, etc, to make them be more lively.
We also need to take into consideration, we can't make it too FPS unfriendly. Then people will complain.
Of course, we'll se how things progress in the future. But of course, the maps needs those nevertheless.
