Did you read my question and Diamondback's response? http://www.beamng.com/threads/developer-section-response-thread.24826/page-21#post-432143 I think between that post and Goosah's post over here the implication is pretty clear...
http://www.beamng.com/threads/west-coast-usa-progress.26882/#post-448516 @B25Mitch Are those working stoplights?
Automatically charges you 25 cents every time you drive through them. Microtransactions are getting too real these days.
What a brilliant idea....DLC/fees through in game toll booths. Better copyright that fast. SHOTS FIRED ROCKSTAR! OT: West Coast USA is looking mouth watering and I can't help but see a wee bit of Los Santos atmosphere going on. B25mitch seems to be the lead on this and that is one of my dreams come true: The author of Riverside Expressway becoming a dev and making an official map If this isn't case then whatever,....I can still dream.
I'm not sure if this was on purpose or pure coincidence, but the WCA traffic lights look almost identical in style to the traffic lights used in Los Angeles. This could mean that WCA is based in Nevada, but this is just a guess.
While Nevada is in the west. Nevada quite crucially, is inland and does not border any coastline. Nor is los angeles, in nevada, its in california
I agree with you for once. Since WCA is bordered by the coast, it is a Californian city, as the landscape is brown, and sparse. Not to mention that Californian traffic lights are similar in design to that of Nevada traffic lights. I'm curious to know what you think WCA's license plates would look like?
I am not remotely curious by license plates, just curious by the blazingly obvious "this is coastal map, nevada is not coastal place". I have no interest in design of traffic lights either. If you excuse me, back to fooling around before its time to sleep and go to work in morning.
Most likely California plates. ECUSA has Maine plates... And the only city in the West Coast that is like this map is Los Angeles.
Can't figure out if I'm more excited for the larger faster racing circuit, or the first official large-scale urban city area. Will definitely be spending a lot of time on both I'm sure.
looks like we'll also be getting in-game leaderboards, achievements (wonder what kind of achievements we'll have), and a way to share content from in-game? will be cool to see what this all is
Those traffic lights also look almost identical to those in my area, except here they are painted yellow. This could mean that WCA is based in northern Spain, but this is just a guess.
