FINALLY A DELOREAN I LOVE THAT CAR (sry too much excited ) but seriously i am so happy that someone do that
LucasBE in the the thread description " it will not be on the repo " literally everyone, "when release on repo?!?! "
inb4r the mod gibs kids. God damn thats a nice looking car. Do you plan to include versions based on the "Stage 2" model?
I didn't really plan on making the stage 2 cars because iirc they were made in 2004 and my mod only has 1981-83 versions but I'll think about it
I've been putting this on DevScreens for a while now but its definitly worth it.. --- Post updated --- BTW will there be the 2015 version with Mr fusion and retractable wheels?
There has been a few attempts at making a DeLorean mod for BeamNG as far as I am aware of. But this one has the most potential, especially considering that nearly everything is scratch-made. I hate to be one of those people who ask redundant questions, but I want to know if there are any plans of an electric version. DeLorean Motor Company of Texas bought the rights to the original defunct company's name and trademark, and made plans to build such version by 2013. But due to the delay of the Low Volume Vehicle Manufacturing Act from NHTSA (in addition to SEMA threatening to sue the agency), production of the "new" vehicles won't take place until 2021 at the earliest. Sure, this mod is only focused on the original DeLorean from the 1980's, but given that there has been continuous support for current DeLorean owners with NOS, OEM, and aftermarket parts, an electric-powered DeLorean might be worth considering.
You may want to reconsider the not colorable thing because i saw this image of a line of deloreans with one of them being red And there's also several images of a blue delorean. And also a yellow one. There's also a hideous pink one, but i'll spare all of you from that.
It was originally planned but I apparently suck at making electric drivetrains in beam and I'm lazy as hell so it probably won't happen. I might consider it down the line though. I won't go back on that decision as i have reasons not to make colored cars. first one being that some parts of the car rely on the stainless steel texture used for the body, and the second one being that I can't find a way to make that happen without completely remaking the car's stainless steel material and other stuff that is too time-consuming I also just don't like painted deloreans
BTW will there be the 2015 version with Mr fusion and retractable wheels? Wow, i really like th blue one
