So a couple of years ago, I posted a rather broken pack that at the time I was quite proud of. I never did finish it completely and abandoned in a semi functional state. https://www.beamng.com/resources/default-emergency-pack.2385/ The goal of that pack was to add the default emergency lighting to every ingame vehicle that existed at the time. I did mostly succeed but it was very flawed. So about 2 weeks ago I decided to break the pack down and do a complete reboot. The goal of this pack is to add the sunburst lightbar to every default car. And I am happy to report that is mostly done. (Please hold your questions for the FAQ at the end) However I didn't just want red and blue, so I have added several new colors to the sunburst car. Colors that don't actually exist but add a lot of customizablility to the police builds. I have also added a Generic American style fully customizable police skin to (almost) every car. (more on that at the end) FAQ's Why doesn't the Widgeon and Bastion have a skin? The widgeon has not been included because I had serious issues with my jbeam I created. Also seemed pointless. The pigeon is fully capable for patrol. The bastion has the lightbar mod but no skins because a lack of a decent UV template. It was not included in the games files. However there are several very good skins for the Bastion. Why does (OLD CAR) have a LED based lightbar Because I wanted them to. Also I run a private beamng server for police pursuits and we don't really stay realistic. Why didn't you use the clearly superior Bastion lightbar? That will probably come in a future pack. Still learning about changing the colors on it. Will you add (CARMODNAME) to your pack? Short answer, no. Long answer is that I don't want to clutter up my mod with every car mod. However since most mods are based on default cars you can add the jbeams to any mod pretty easily. And you can do this without permission from me. Credit is nice, but not required. No T series or bus support? Yes, currently no plans to add lightbars to the bus and T-series.
not gonna lie, this is one of the packs i used to use but had a lot of issues IIRC. looking forward to this revamp!
