    Some testing:

    My idea is to have a trigger so you can select sunny or storm while in-game. The rain works with collisions, so it should be realistic and hit the cars instead of going through the cars like in some games.

    I have some of the crash tests already implemented on the map, including superman's:

    smalloverlap.jpg brickwall.jpg palmtree.jpg supermanstest.jpg carpenetrator.jpg

    If you have any ideas for more crash tests post them here, there's plenty of room for a lot more.

    Nice tests!
    How about some "jump-related"?
    Like, one normal ramp, 2 curved ones (1 for clockwise, & other for counter), maybe one that ends with a tree?
    Also, different depth ditches? :D

    You should have a "splitter" test. Basically, a very sharp triangle block to split your car in half.

    Splitter test but it should be like a plane mesh in blender thin and sharp

    Tilt tests? How far can you go before tipping
    tall kerbs? they were always fun in ror when you actually wanted to hit them. They just clip the bottom of the car bending it like a banana.

    Good idea.
    Although it wouldn't be much effective (currently), since basically the same thing will happen like what you saw with the Covet in the livestream. If the Devs could get it (splitting a car) to work, then this would be awesome. (Oh, & let's not start a 10 page discussion about this [splitting a car] please)
    What the heck! I say put it in anyway! lol :p

    I'm working like crazy on the map as it seems Beamng will be released in 3 days!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I could help you getting some Lua in there to reset/set things :)
    If it is getting released in 3 days :p

    Also: just saw the "car penetrator" and the "super man" tests, lol.

    DRIVE in 3 DAYS! :D

    Looks like a dream come true.
    I will start development on my map as soon as they release their 'alpha' build so I can test it with the World Scale. :)

    I'm working right now on the off-road part of the map. It's gonna be challenging, and fun! I will make it until the crash area, and then a tarmac road through the forest.

    That area is really bumpy. I'll start with the tarmac road now and I'll keep working on the off-road area tomorrow.

    Great work.
    I like the 3rd pic, I can imagine myself driving fast around that corner many times, acting like I didn't know that block was there, & then reacting in different ways :D

    EDIT: Got Ninja'd by a progress update :p
    I meant the 3rd pic on the 1st post about offroad roads.
    On the new post: Nice area. Would love to go with the Grand Marshall around there :)

    not 100% sure but i think the block is there to simulate a car being there and it is unlikely it will be there upon release but don't hold me to that.

    I saw on Top Gear there is a pendulum test. Will there be one in this?

    Yup, all correct. The block is just a temporarily car replacer. It will be removed, indeed.
