Outdated Dash Cam View

How do you download this in 5.0? I'm not sure where to put the files.

 

You have to copy the files into the correct vehicle folders.
SteamApps > common > BeamNG.drive > content > vehicles
For exampe, when you open the roamer file you have to search for the roamer.jbeam, make a backup of it and replace it then with my file.

 

This is the WRONG way to install mods. Never alter BeamNG.drive files inside the SteamApps folder.

To make it installable by dropping it into the mods folder, make your zip file like this:
dashcams-v0.5.zip > vehicles/barstow/barstow.jbeam
dashcams-v0.5.zip > vehicles/coupe/coupe.jbeam
dashcams-v0.5.zip > vehicles/fullsize/fullsize.jbeam
etc...

 

Do i just download it and throw it into mods?

I've made a updated version where you just have to drop the file into the mods folder, should be uploaded today.

I'm getting a new laptop soon because my old one can no longer run Beam NG Drive, I'm looking for mods which I'll eventually put on it. Other than the camera angles, does this mod do anything else, for example with the audio?

 

No, it's just the view.

 

How'd you make the dashcam fall over and move like that?

 

By holding right click and moving the mouse.
It's not a feature of the mod.
