    Yeah, I figured as much. I didn't want to mess with the diff though in order to make it simpler, so I just multiplied the transmission ratios by about 1.2. It wasn't really enough though, so feel free to make whatever tweaks you want to the drivetrain to make it handle a bit nicer.

    I almost doubled the diff ratio :p If I'm honest it still is a bit of a slug, where you need acceleration the revs just shoot up as there isn't that much torque.

    That's to be expected, I guess. According to some forums I came across while researching this thing, exceeding 4000 rpm whenever you hit a hill or try to pass someone is completely normal.

    yeah, I think in BeamNG the revs are exaggerated as the V8 sound (closest match to reality) sounds like a hoover so it sounds like it is revving faster than it is.
