everyone says it is but it really was not it was just like any other car in its time fragile also i fixed one and the,re gorgeous
Boaty suspension, petrol tank too easy to puncture, airbags don't work in most crashes and sudden explosions.
Porsche 911, good luck keeping it controlled in corners. Volkswagen Beetle, good luck surviving in this tin can. Pontiac Trans Sport, good luck not getting pancaked by the rear and front. Lamborghini Miura, good luck not getting crushed by a bulldozer in a tunnel and getting thrown off a cliff.
The 2nd gen Toyota MR2 I heard these thing handle like shit regular car reviews cover this and I don't not want to explain all of that crap
Bump because you know what worse than dying in a Pinto crash letting a Toyota driving it self to a wall or the Lancia Monte Carlo brake problem well the lack of brakes.
*First time driving the Bolide corse* "Oh, this isn't so bad! What do they mean by hard to control?" *Turbo spools up* AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Actually, the Pinto was not that bad. It was just below average for the era in safety - and IIRC,,the AMC Ambassador had similar problem. The metal fuel tank behind the rear axle + RWD layout is unsafe in general.
Technically, the production of those batteries that are made in those cars create more pollution than an average four cylinder will in it's average lifetime.
