Excuse me for being a complete spanner and not reading the readme... Also not that fond of inserting files into the original pickup.zip.

    Re: D-15 Racing Truck

    Number 1: Spanner?

Number 2: Sigh, I release something as a separate vehicle, people ask for it to be a simplistic add-on, now I make simplistic add-on and people ask for the opposite... people need to make up their mind.

    EDIT:

NUMBER 3: I JUST REMEMBERED THE FILES ARE ALSO NAMED LIKE pickup_ST_part, AND st.png ECT,
THEREFOR IT SHOULD BE EASY TO UNINSTALL!

    There are 2 alternatives.

First one. Your mod unzips into the original beamng/vehicles/pickup folder without altering the pickup zip just fine.
Second one. Pack your files into D15RacingTruck.zip/vehicles/pickup and place it in documents/beamng/mods. I've been repackaging my own mini mods this way. Cool thing is that it seems the game loads content from the content folded first, then overwrites with stuff from the mods folder. One of my mini mods needs 2 slots on the bolide so I simple added a new jbeam file redefining the original bolide chassis with my extra 2 slots. Game loads kriginal chassis, then overwrites with my near identical second one. Then my mods can be installed. Except the core lua is broken in a few ways in current experimental build so traction control and stability control are broken anyway so my mod doesn't really work.

Ah, nice to see some feedback, and yeah, I agree... I actually just finished modeling the supports better...

    Re: D-15 Racing Truck 2.3

Nice job so far the only things I seem to have a problem with is first, the transmission is really wonky and stops at 2nt gear in automatic, and second the suspension will almost never stop bouncing. but other than that great job and I cant wait to see what you do next!

    Re: D-15 Racing Truck 2.3

Change to the racing diff, a glitch made it so both configs default to a welded instead of just the ALT

MAJOR BUG DISCOVERED, INSIDE THE SUSPENSION ST JBEAM THE SWAY BAR FOR THE REAR IN THE RELEASE VERSION IS STILL SET TO THE FRONT SLOT AND NOT THE REAR! EVERYONE HAS NO SWAYBAR!

    - - - Updated - - -

I have about 1-2+ hours of model work I must do and than I have to repair the rear suspension and re-test it from the beginning.

Sigh, I never get feedback, I'm not saying everyone must do it, but it adds motivation and it makes my audience seem less like mod hungry game players and more like people who actually care about the fact that I spend hours during the many days in my weeks volunteering to pour mods out into the community.

[On the exception of people like 14ramosr, CrazeGaming, Clayton8or and on of the most useful people SixSixSevenSeven never stopping the act of giving out tons of useful information all over the fourms.]

To give players an idea of what the new spoiler model actually looks like
[spoiler it's self looks 100% identical without seeing vertices blade has better curve focus is on supports]

    Re: D-15 Racing Truck 3.0

I figured out why I was having problems (other than me not reading the readme). I installed a mod for the pickup ages ago and turns out it was interfering with your mod, so I disposed of it and now yours works like a dream! Thanks alot for this and I love these types of mods. Now I'm off to enjoy slamming it into a wall!

    Re: D-15 Racing Truck 3.0

Edited the exhaust model and jbeam [it's a separate part and old exhaust still works for regular truck]

    016cc06960.jpg
    b8aa015bd7.jpg

    • Has it's own triangles near the ends to keep it for ultra-clipping the vehicle
    • Has more nodes and beams than original
    • Model has minimal performance cost
    • Not fps intensive, as far as I know

[Well most of the time it won't clip, like 1 in 8-16 moderate crashes in can sometimes make it's way into the bed but even the default one did that, more often too.]
Disclaimer: Subject to anything can happen at high speed in a crash, but shouldn't become polygons.

    New Simplistic Engine Model!

    • [Not made for extreme no poly-flow over the top aesthetics]

    • Also has no hassle custom engine sound via lua. [Of which I plan to show off later]
    • EDIT: Oh and I tuned gear 1 to be a tad longer, and changed auto shift points to fix 2 gear issues [auto trans was literally only gear 2 and 4], now works as it should and is very fun to use.
