So, I've had the idea of making a sort of content creation contest. You'd have 48 hours to make whatever you please. It can be a mod, a skin, a map, a jbeam with or without a model, whatever you want to make. Maybe, if the community approves of this, we could start this on friday (9/18 or 18/9). After it's done there could be a poll were the community could vote for the mod(s) they liked best. What do you think of this? Write your thoughts about this if you want to.
well, 48 hours isnt enough time to fine tune a car/map. maybe it could be a week long thing? i quite like this idea though
48 hours - the time you're not at PC to create a jbeam? No matter what it would be, I also think that'd be a pretty short timeframe but besides that I already liked modding comps in RoR so... just would need some actual rules and more information IMO (like you have to do it all alone, you may get help from someone else, you may team up, you may use add-on parts, you may not use a russian mod or idk)
nope, nope unless directed by someone with experience. i can see this turning into an cat ass trophy. get dsam or nadux or someone with cred to do it.
Well, okay, maybe two days is a bit too short. One or two weeks do sound a bit better now that I think about it. It would also be good if someone who a) knows what they're doing and b) is good at this stuff would host this thing though. Again, didn't really think about that.
