of course you have the right to tell them to stop, and the right to stop them from distributing the modified version, but if someone makes something as simple as a engine tune, you really can't stop them from making it. Hell: this clearly modifies your DeLorean mod by modifying nearly every possible values. and then what? nothing changes. OT: game files, here shows the etk k series v12 being in the game folder in (Drive Letter):\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\BeamNG.drive\content\vehicles\etkc.zip\vehicles\etkc
would had open it but i can't (go figure). not even suppose to being arguing with you anyways OT: repost
You guys argue too much. Go play car game and smash a pigeon with a d series instead. Don't have an image with me, so take my render of my widebody kit for the Bolide that has served as my profile picture for the past few months instead. Also this body kit is like 90% done if anyone wants it, don't have the time to finish it.
I tried to keep to myself but you guys keep going back and forth, and I can no longer keep my mouth shut. If you publicly release a mod for free, people are able to do whatever they want to it for their personal use. At that point, their "owners" of the mod (not creators, just owners). The point you're trying to prove has no real validity. It's like giving someone a bowl of plain ice cream and then telling them that they can't put their own sprinkles on it; it's not like they're taking your ice cream, putting sprinkles on it, and then giving it to someone else and taking credit. You're the one at fault for leaving the unused files in the released mod anyway...
Beamng modders when someone uses assets put in a publicly released mod on a public forum anyone can access
Anyone can access items in this publicly open shop, that means I can take and use them for free right? Even if the shop owner tells me not to. anyway 3 headlight burnside not relez ever so dont ask
Mfw modders tell people not to modify a mod for any purpose and people completely disregard that and do anyway and then the modder gets annoyed and then people complain about the modder getting annoyed but those same people would probably complain about bootleg sites reuploading 'free publicly released mods'
