Always felt something was a bit off with Beam's lighting, and I feel like I've figured it out. The shadows never really look intense enough for bright days and sunsets. In these two screenshots I have a slight Reshade adjustment to add some better AO and make the colour temperature a tiny bit warmer. You can see the comparison here between the Sunsky intensity set to 1: The shadows are barely visible - it's sunset and the sun is mostly visible at this point, so you should expect to see some fairly vibrant shadows as it's still bright. With the intensity set to 30: Naturally this might be a bit over the top and "Hollywoodised", but I think somewhere in between the two suits it best. Looks more natural in the full day time too, with the ground and distant cliffs being a little blown out by the light, as you'd expect on a bright, hot Utah day. This is set to 17: Would be interesting to see this adapted to maps with scripting, maybe having something like 10-20 during the day, intensifying to 25-35 as the sun sets, then dropping down to single digits at night.
