De jure the Miramar is not a paid mod, but people can only get the pre-release version by paying money, so de facto it is. I am sure NinetyNine just wanted to thank his supporters, not establish a paid modding empire, but it turned out like this. People are paying him money not because they want to support him, but because they want the mod. Since ancient times there were people who wanted to own something that others could not (and show it off, of course, or how else others would know they are privileged). And if a person posts a screenshot not to show off, but to "promote" the mod, then it is called advertising a product to make more people buy it (or pay money to get it, but to me, it is the same), turning this thread into a commercial marketplace. In conclusion, the Miramar turned from a WIP mod into a VIP mod. O.T.:
It's not a paid mod, 99! thanks his donators for donating by giving them a preview. I would do the same if someone would donate me tbh. I have the murumur too because I beta-test stuff for him and vice versa. And who is making it a Marketplace? He is not advertising it, OT:

Its work in progress and will be available for everyone once its done. Ah yes. just like you called the Bolide Corse and every other mod of mine someone had before 'official' release a paid mod. Stop being so butthurt
eh, you’re all in that modders posse group or whatever, so you all say the same thing. “Oh, it’s supporting the modder!” When you’re donating to get a mod, it’s like paying to get it. Please stop believing only what you want and realize, for the average consumer like me who has no skill in modding, seeing all these cool kid mods and knowing people paid for them is kind of insulting. It’s like a big club. Instead of just quietly letting a few people test your mod and reporting for bugs to you via PM, people pay for the mod to “test” it and then rub it in everyone else’s faces with some flashy screenshots. we would appreciate it if you stopped. Thanks.
Why would I stop testing his stuff? I think I know enough about modding to be a good beta-tester. He doesnt have many beta-testers though. And maybe you didnt understand it, most beta-testers didnt pay for it OT: using that white showroom

Its not paid modding or like some premium membership thingy as you think We only test the cars for bugs, give feedback and support progress (most of the forum dont even bother doing these). Beta process is only to give you better mods, mods that you'll eventually get. Also unlike you think, most people dont pay to be there About posting in the com.screens; its just to trigger the community Ps: You can get the mod early by donating if you really want an unfinished mod that much...
