Clearing cache

Everytime I clear cache, the integrity check takes a very long time

 

You can simply delete the temp folder in your user folder, it takes some much lower time, just 15~30 secs
Userfolder: Appdata/Local/BeamNG.drive/0.23. Go there and delete the temp folder

 

Just use Windows Task Manager (Ctrl-Shift-Esc) to end BeamNG launcher after clear cache finished to avoid that completely unnecessary integrity check

This was mentioned numerous times, please not to verify integrity after a Clear Cache since we already have a DEDICATED Verify Integrity button, but unfortunately, the devs still haven't fix it. The Clear Cache is doing things at "C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\BeamNG.drive" Verify Integrity is doing at your "steamapps\common\BeamNG.drive\" these two folders are unrelated and miles away from each other, BeamNG launcher and playing BeamNG, changing settings are all making changes to "C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\BeamNG.drive", and the the folder of the game i.e. "steamapps\common\BeamNG.drive\" are completely untouched.

Thus BeamNG devs if you are seeing this please, please fix that problem, let the Verify Integrity button to do integrity check, and Clear Cache doing clear cache and not other unnecessary things.
