--UPDATE 1.0-- (Repo Release!) The final early access update, yes it's finally time to release this project upon the masses loI, can't thank you all enough for supporting this project this far! But this is far from the end, I've still got tons of stuff planed, and of course this update brings multiple additions/fixes: -Fixed 'Maniflod' typo's -Fixed Black Glass bug (Big thanks to AgentY for figuring that one out) -Fix many cases of engines breaking after turning it off or stalling -Added missing transmissions to Moonhawk -Added missing turbo setups to diesel engines -Changed all drag transmissions to have variable gear ratios -Other minor Fixes anyone who has bought the mod on either Patreon or Ko-fi will still get WIP updates before they release on the repo
Loving this. Currently 'building' a 423ci Bluebuck with a crossram intake and assorted go-faster goodies ***edit*** JΛVI, is there a setup for the Bluebuck that'll work with a big block V8 and crossram carbs? Everything I've tried so far has the carb aircleaners clipping through the hood to some degree. Not that I mind driving around without a hood installed, since the engine model looks so good
glad you're enjoing it dude and there is no hood that will perfectly fit the cross rams on the bluebuck since i made it mainly for the barstow, i didn't really think about other cars using it with the big block but I'll prolly add some other hood options in the future so it can eventually fit lol
that is the exact hood I based the barstow's on lol for other vehicles i might do a type of bulge hood, idk yet whatever fits best
Why dont you just lower the mounts a little bit, i cant think of any Chrysler from the late '50s through to the mid '60s that had a special hood for aircleaner clearance, stock hoods should fit just fine. The beauty of the cross ram is that the manifold allowed the carbs to sit lower than a stock manifold will allow, hence why in 1957 all the air cleaners were the large canister type not mounted directly on top of the carb, that changed in '58 with the release of a carb with a lower sitting air horn... Long story short, anywhere a little 301 poly head engine can go a 383 cross ram will go
If I may recommend I would love to see the cut hood have cowls (I think that the right term) so they don't look so aftermarket. (I know I phrased it weird)
Very nice mod! could we get this to D-series also and it would be very good if u can make different sized twinturbos on v8, they look so tiny on those cars other than that i like this mod very much, keep up the good work
I would've wanted it to fit snugly under any hood don't get me wrong, but since the big block is slightly larger I can't drop it any more before the oil pan clips through the frame and I can't lower the intake because then the race cylinder heads would clip into it. So unfortunately there are some sacrifices when trying to make everything fit universally but pretty much anything under 400 cui I considered as a small block, and has the small block model which doesn't have that issue with the cross-ram carbs clipping
Two things. First: I love the custom sounds for the pack. Absolutely adore them. Second: Would it be possible to give the Barstow a different intermediate-size V8, if the 353 is (for the foreseeable future) stay exclusive to the Bluebuck? Something between 340-360 cubic-inch? In addition, would it be possible to add a ram-air hood for the Barstow, and a Pontiac Can Am-style hood for the Moonhawk?
