That was mostly my point. If you end up with a virus on your pc then the last thing they will probably think about/ be interested in doing is injecting adverts into BeamNG. The only other way i can think of this happening is if someone were to compromise the updater, but if they did the last thing they would do is make it obvious that your pc is infected. Data mining is probably more profitable than injecting ads into a game. But i have never tried so i could be wrong. On Topic: Do you see yourself making the 7 seater model as well as the 5 seat model. Since they both use the same modular chassis. Just a thought. By the same logic there are quite a few french vehicles that all use this same chassis, but you probably have better things to do than model 20 very similar looking variants of a french mpv. So don't take this as a super serious concept
everything is roughly three times as floppy as it should be. but damn this thing's impressive now . I love the details like the dash compartments opening in a crash
That could be... Um... Interesting... OT: Nice car choice, I want to smash this with a T-75 when it's released.
Download Latest pre-release v.0.9.3 there: https://github.com/sergey-lysenko/beamng_picasso/releases/tag/0.9.3 - fixed several annoying issues - added several parts configurations
Thats because this is a source repository and does its job very damn fucking well, there is a lovely download as zip button for you though
To make this car more driveable, I combined those 13 separate pieces into single solid jbeam as shown on illustration. So there are two model types now: "Composite", where everything is still separate and removable, and "Solid", with unmodifiable structural jbeam. This jbeam will be continiously optimized and at some point I hope to have no more then expected amount of bodyflex. Next: - Deal with excessive shaking of front part of vehicle caused by ABS jitter. - Implement real struts (using experimental branch). https://github.com/sergey-lysenko/beamng_picasso/releases/tag/0.9.5
I've just occasionally stumbled upon that youtube video: and thought initially "Wow, somebody finally made that GTA V mod I wanted, and the model looks nice", then I realized that this is really _my_ model, because of all this well known imperfections. Maybe this fact will give me required kick to continue my work on that particular piece, after all.
