Transparent blocks, maybe triangles/wedges for nicer shards, stacked like cinder block wall prop. Thinned down to the limit of (apparent) spiking issues. Framed if they can not stay upright. Could be used for crashing through glass! Shop windows, maybe even ice over water. Is it done or tried and dismissed? edit. glass sheet, nothing to do with a fish called sheat. Glad I drew that picture. And of course these blocks must be connected together so it breaks only under certain impact force or weight. Not just fall over like the stacked cinder blocks.
