    Hi, I'm just wondering how can you make the Check Engine Light come on without hydrolocking the engine, fuel starvation, or any other possibility that can make the Check Engine Light come on.

    Is there a code or something that can trigger the Check Engine Light?

    Help would be greatly appreciated.

    yeah pretty sure you could create a lua file to trigger it. whet things do you want to trigger?

    wait i should have said that better: what do you want to happen to trigger the check engine light? also i think you could copy and paste some code that triggers the check engine light (and also the texture) and code the things that will trigger it in a lua file to do it.

    Let me repeat myself: I want the Check Engine light to come on just from normal driving.

    You can't change it easily... It's currently hard-coded in electrics.lua:
    Code:
    vals.checkengine = (drivetrain.engineDisabled == true)
    You would either have to:
    1) Modify the core game code to change the value
    2) Make the same function that the value is set in, in another file and overwrite the original with that one (which is what my More Features Mod does)
