    Here's a teaser of new wing breaking, and new stall characteristics


    This plane is outdated already, and doesn't live up to my more modern content.

    I plan to do the following
    -Engine model
    -Front frame
    -Breakable cowlings
    -Improved interior textures
    -Improved model shape
    -Add a brake, which should have been there all along :|
    -Add smoke missiles

    None of those are promises, just plans / hopes :p

    Reworking the front of the model

    The model has a lot of inaccuracies, I'm addressing some

    Will have to fix rudder, vertical stabilizer, horizontal stabilizer, front window area, some general deimensions, general body shape, rear wheel
    Looking at photos now, many things are incorrect.

    Will also be upgraded to my propeller engine system, which will implement flooding among other things.

    Also will have the tail be breakable, instead of fixed to the fuselage

    Oh, btw, I saw this plane IRL :)

    Just remodeled the tail area of the fuselage. Adjusted the rudder , and tail thickness, adjusted the length of the vertical stabilizer, rounded the rudder.

    Will probably also model the steering springs, and have it so the wheel isn't floating :p

    -Reworked top windows shape a little
    -Reworked the roof, made flaps and ailerons smaller
    -Reworked top of tail, redid the entire rear window (use image above to compare to IRL)

    -Redid some stuff such as side window shapes, they're now much closer to IRL though still need some work

    Hopefully not too far off from being game ready again. Though it is going to get a new UV map and new, more detailed normal map (all skins will be ported) before that happens :)

    Thanks for the updates; the preview images look very promising!

    But even as is, the existing mod is a real joy to simply relax whilst touring various maps... I also appreciate the relatively good STOL attributes of this plane.

    It looks whole different plane now, have you done before and after comparison of whole plane?

    Is it now more agile when flying as control surface are changed?

    Once I do texture remapping I'll have to adjust it ingame, then I'll see

    Hopefully the entire front will just snap right off-- well, providing you hit it with enough force that the engine comes off

    Wow I'm an idiot :|

    The body had 100% lift/drag. Fixed that, also reduced the amount of pull the prop has, modified sounds a little, and lengthened the takeoff run.
    The takeoff runs were instant which didn't make sense. This plane can takeoff in short distances, but not that short.

    The rudder also had a stupidly high amount of drag, which has been reduced to about 20% of what it was

    With this stuff fixed, you can actually glide now, it doesn't stall at the pace of a snail, and it feels much better to fly

    I can't wait to take this thing for a test flight :D The progress pictures look awesome.

    I have many fond memories of terrain contouring, take-offs, stunts, landings, stalls and crash landings - Keep up the great work!
