I would say that the C and E class Mercedes are, but the S class is worth it considering it's prestige, and technology, and build quality. And standard equipment. And style. But most other German cars are very expensive, so it's better to buy slightly used then new.
I see a lot of people complaining about the price of German cars, but hey, it's the price of the quality ^^ On topic, I'll say most Renault, like the Kadjar, for exemple, 34k € seems a bit over priced for only 130hp, and French quality is far to be the best, a lot of cheap plastics and other cheap stuff...
German cars dont really are that good quality wise at least in my opinion espacially vw golfs from the newest generation theyre just skodas or seats with a diffrent badge same with audi
I don't know, old vw are close to indestructible, I mean (yeah again my golf) but our 1989 golf, with close to 360 000 hm is in pretty good shape, we never change any important part of the engine, and the interior and exterior is in a very good shape (if my mum didn't bump in every thing she saw) even the clutch have never been change. For comparison, our 1994 106, with 308 000 km, we had change the head gasket on it, the paint is dead, the interior is dead, sure it's a second hand but still. I know it's old cars and not modern one, but still.
Old vws are really good it went downhill with the golf 5 also the worst from the build quality is the 5 series wich is currently sold my uncle has one and it starts to fall apart now just after 20000km wich isnt alot for a car that costs that much
Uh, I think the worst is clearly Opel, them old cars where seriously underpowered, if not we had a Zafira B 1l9 TDI, the next week we bought it the turbo started to die, so we bring it back to the dealer, those assh*le had just get rid of the sensor on the turbo! 2 years after the turbo blow up on the highway. Why? Because the catalytic converter was full of shit. But what we didn't know at the time was that this car was using the Flat multiplat engine, Dutch (Deutsch) quality my ass...
GERMAN quality and even that is not correct, it was a GM opel. You really trigger me by writing Dutch instead of German or Deutsch. Germany, Deutschland is German or Deutsch The Netherlands or Nederland is Dutch or Nederlands. The only Dutch cars around are a few older Mitsubishi's, DAF trucks and cars, Tesla's, Mini's and the BMW X1. Personally I don't think Mercs are overpriced, we have a C-klasse estate with the 220cdi and my father drives 80k km/year (not a taxi though) and we never have any problems. And it drives just good, quality of the interior is something to consider too I think Opels are overpriced, the last gen astra was, old crappy engines, heavy, bad materials and not much R&D in the ergonomy and interior. For example: The button(one of a billion in the dash of that astra) for the Navigation was not navi but 'dest' really wtf?
Oops, sorry I always make this mistake, I said "Deutsch quality my ass" because at the end of Opel ad they say "Opel, deutsch quality" and same for VW. For me the low-end german cars are cleary lack in quality, but not so much for higher-end one, I never heard someone say "God this mercedes have a poor interior and a crappy engine"
2k17 Ford GT . This thing has price tag of 650000 dollars and it's not even stronger Dan challenger hellcat :-\
