Then why buy an suv in the first place? you could buy A 5ser wagon for the same or less money and double the practicalness. SUV's as a thing are what shouldn't exist but do, at lest for the past 1990 big ass tankers..
Yeah however Atomix, have I the ride for you. 2015 Range Rover SVR. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=riwL2-lR-GM
Also crossovers. They're just taller, stupider station wagons that are worse to drive, get worse MPG, go slower, and are usually a bit smaller on the inside. Just so it looks like your car might have a tiny bit of offroad capability, which it doesn't. My mom has a 4 cyl FWD RAV4. Totally pointless car. Could have had a faster and much nicer diesel Jetta wagon for the same price.
I thought I was the only one who hated those! Nice to see I'm not. I guess in today's fashion-oriented society it's more important to avoid the perceived unsexiness of a wagon than to avoid the real stupidity of a crossover. Only now are they starting to get some decent off-road capability, and I'm guessing only because the fully insane CAFE regulations on the way will make it impossible to sell true SUVs.
The only thing even remotely offroad-y about my mom's car is the auto LSD which just puts the brake on a spinning wheel to make an LSD effect. That and the tailgate mounted spare wheel, which sets off the TPMS every once in awhile.
I like crossovers but the bigger more useful ones... Like our 3.5L V6 Pathfinder Love this car... so comfy and loads of room. Quite nice to drive actually. Had one of these... this needs to burn. Useless car this...
its made for people that want to go fast but if they understeer and end up on offroad, it wont get that destroyed
That's just a ricer, not worthy of the 'Abomination' title. that goes to this puke-worthy Taurus... (imported from here) (imported from here) Some people were SO offended by this travesty, they bought it with the sole intention of destroying it, which they did.
so basically its a bad looking car made worse oh yeah I can see that its a late 90s Ford Taurus it was a design ford thought everyone would want but it turned out the public hated it its basically the ford edsel of the 1990s. it looked horrible at the time but now the design isn't that bad anymore (sorta) oh and I apologize for bumping this thread. - - - Updated - - - the first gens aren't that bad looking.
I guess that's what they get for consulting an astrologer to find out which solstice date they should release the car on.
The VW Up! There is nothing wrong with the car. Its actually very good at its job. But it is identical to the Skoda CityGo. They have the same engines, everything is the same. But the VW Up is more expensive because it has a VW badge and not a skoda one. I guess the same could probably be said about most VAG cars and the cheaper Seat versions but at least they do actually have some differences especially with trim levels and so on.
I myself despise the up!. The name, with its exclamation point and stupid trim levels, the shape and appearance of the car, the three-cylinder engines, bleah. It's like the vehicular incarnation of a metrosexual.
holden camira for poor reliability my grandmother had one before she brought her (bad but still better than the camira) Holden Astra
I reckon that car solely existed so poor as shit people could at least think they were driving a Commodore. (They don't make Camira anymore because now poor as shit people can afford junked out old Commies.)
nah it was the replacement for the holden torana then the camIra was replaced by a rebaged Toyota Camry then finally the Holden Vectra also and early 80s fuel crisis PS the commodore has had a 4 cylinder engine ONCE.
I have a good idea why don't holden replace the commodore (since there going out) with a smaller car called the Holden Torana I would buy one. also Chrysler should bring back the valiant charger.
