the issue is to get the tethers to look good once the wheel is detached, since they're rope-like they would require multiple nodes, which would probably mess up the suspension
Absolute banger of a job done on this one Lucas, threw it around Hirochi Raceway for 20 or so laps and its a joy to drive for me on a controller: very responsive, but doesn't feel like its on ice 24/7 like older open wheelers that have been made for this game. Would love for you to revisit the concept of a F3 or F2 car in the future (potentially after we get some technical improvements in terms of the game engine and simulation in general?) under the Carbonworks name. As for the criticism in the thread, don't bother letting it get to you, your work is hugely appreciated by the community
It's there to wear down if the car runs to low and then it gets inspected and if it's below a certain thickness then the car is illegal for competition
it prevents the car from bottoming out completely, which would eliminate any airflow under the floor and thus eliminate all downforce produced by it. Since it creates a non negligible amount of downforce, suddenly eliminating it would unsettle the car and likely make you lose control. Some deadly crashes were caused by this issue
Well, presumably pretty quick. Driver dependent obviously, but use a low downforce / aggressive config and you'll probably nail a fast time. Just might be difficult to do so with the more oversteer prone aggressive config but you'll need it in order to get the best possible time.
i hate how most of the community think that they deserve mods and that its not your choice weather you like it or not
Lol. I would probably swap in a F1 V10 in it for the lolz myself, but last time I swapped a racing V8 in it and it started a huge drama in the thread.
